Suspended spikes

Suspended spikes are available with female luer or tubing port, in 1-way or 2-ways versions. 1-way spikes have a straight and unique fluid path whereas 2-ways spikes have a second path for air inlet. This allows air to enter bags or bottles as fluid exits, preventing a vacuum that would stop the flow. 2-ways spikes are particularly useful with rigid containers. These components can be assembled with filters or valves, and can be part of infusion, transfusion or irrigation sets. Spikes are usually made of white or transparent but coloured ABS and can then be used on gravity sets in oncological applications.
